New Prompts this Issue

Band of Brothers

BAND OF BROTHERS, Ann Winters/Blanche Nixon, Post-war. Dick and Nix take Ann to New York and they end up spending a night with Blanche, who's *really* into the idea of corrupting Ann.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton, Lipton told everybody his family has a boarding house because it's way better than admitting he runs a brothel.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, After Carwood gets checked for his pneumonia and found he got over it, a nurse hands him a lollipop. Carwood spent 15 years convinced he was too grown up for lollipops but he's not going to say no to sugar. Ron can feel a tick pull at his eye as he stares at Lip suck on a lollipop while writing reports.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, Carwood is in the witness protection program, and Ron is the federal marshal assigned to him.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, Ron had been a guest of Lipton's boarding house months before the draft. There was an undeniable chemistry between the two of them, but then Ron left and Lip thought it was just a quick crush. And then they meet again and the sparkle is still there.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, Ron somehow gets custody of his kid, and brings him over to America. When he's at a loss for what to do, he hits up his old army buddy Lip for some help.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, Speirs is the governor of a prison. Lip has been behind bars for a long time - he's one of the most popular prisoners there, and everyone says he's one of the few inmates who really didn't do what he was jailed for. Ron is intrigued.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, Unrequited love. Ron loves Carwood more than anything in the world, but Carwood only sees him as his commanding officer.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Carwood Lipton/Ronald Speirs, While they're sharing a bed Lip starts dreaming of his wife. He wakes up in the middle of humping Ron and groping his chest. Not that Ron looks too opposed to it. (as in, Ron has a hand down his pants and he's rutting back)

BAND OF BROTHERS, Darrell 'Shifty' Powers/Earl McClung, Furtive encounters on the deck of a troop ship.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Darrell 'Shifty' Powers/Floyd 'Tab' Talbert, When Tab visits Shifty after the war, Shifty takes him out hiking and camping - and in the wilderness it's a whole lot easier to find words for things they never managed to say aloud before.

BAND OF BROTHERS, David Webster/Joseph Liebgott, after that fight on the troop ship, Liebgott needs some calming down

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, After Joe goes back to the States, Don keeps writing to him, although he doesn't get any response. When the war is over and he goes home he keeps writing. A depressed Joe hasn't opened any of the letters. One day he finally cracks - and as he reads them, he realises not only how Don feels about him - but a whole bunch of possibilities about how much better his life could be.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Don is much more involved in the gay community than Joe is. When two of his friends quietly get married behind closed doors, Don starts wanting to mark their relationship in that way, but Joe is a lot more uncertain.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Joe fucks Don in their bathroom, which has mirrors on both walls, meaning Don can see pretty much every angle of Joe's body. He's into it.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Joe's always been pretty self-conscious about both being super intimate and feeling submissive in any way - but Don's pretty sure that if he tried it, he'd love being rimmed. What's Going To Happen Next, I Wonder?

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, POV Joe's kid. (He had a son named Pete, canonically, but go ham. Make it three kids, IDGAF.) After the war, Joe gets married and things don't work out. He's well on his way to drinking himself to death when he and Don reconnect in the early 60s and his kids watch, awed, as this stranger (who they [grudgingly?] come to like) uncovers a version of their dad they thought had never made it home from the war. Relationships are rekindled (maybe with his ex-wife too?) and things are good, even if 'Uncle Don' is kind of embarrassing sometimes.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Since hearing all about how great Duke Ellington was during the war from Don Malarkey, Joe's developed a reluctant affection for him. When Duke Ellington's tour comes nearby, Joe decides to treat himself to a ticket in his first solo venture out at night since losing his leg. No prizes for guessing who he runs into at the bar.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Soulmate au: Don's soulmate, Skip, is dead - and Joe doesn't even have one. But they put together a life that shows you don't have to be destined for each other to be blissfully happy.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Joseph Toye, Things have been dragging them down, so they decide to go to their favourite bar and pretend to meet for the first time.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Donald Malarkey/Lynn 'Buck' Compton, Ass worship.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward 'Babe' Heffron/Eugene Roe, Babe begs Gene not to marry Vera, but he does anyway. But then five years later Gene shows up wild-eyed on Babe's doorstep with a suitcase, and Babe has to decide if there's still room in his life for what they could have had together.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward 'Babe' Heffron/Eugene Roe, For a dead virgin, John Julian really is good at dispensing advice to Babe about his fledgling relationship with Gene.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward 'Babe' Heffron/Eugene Roe, The first time they see each other after the war is actually super awkward. But when they're sharing a bed that night, they both remember what happened the last time they shared a bed, and that closeness comes flooding back to them,

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward 'Babe' Heffron/William 'Wild Bill' Guarnere, Bill is happy to take Babe around on his new car and have picnics in a totally straight-friendly way. Except for the sex that happens on the back seat.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, Lingerie.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, Soulmate au: when Tom meets Ed, he's shocked to realise that Ed's name has appeared on his arm, meaning they're destined to be together. But Ed hasn't even acknowledged it - what's up with that? Tom's determined to win him over.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, Their furloughs only cross over in London for a few hours. Ed's determined to drag Tom back to his hotel room and do everything possible to him in the limited time they have.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, Tom and Ed are living together as friends happily after the war. But when a night of drinking brings their real feelings for each other to the surface, they have to learn how to adjust to their new reality.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, When Ed goes to his favourite gay bar, he's shocked to see a very nervous Tom perched at the end of the bar. They haven't seen each other since the war and it's a hell of a way to reunite.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Edward Shames/Thomas Peacock, When Ed sees Tom for the first time during the war he's stunned - this is the first ever guy he slept with back when he was 18. Tom doesn't seem to want to talk about it, but he goes red every time Ed's close to him. When they're billeted together and have to share a room, Ed decides to make his move.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Floyd 'Tab' Talbert, Tab manages to smuggle a huge box of condoms with him when he jumps to Normandy.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Floyd 'Tab' Talbert/Richard Winters, Sex in front of the fire place, maybe on a bear hide. Lumbersex energy.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Floyd 'Tab' Talbert/Richard Winters, Tab is a bit of a slutty boy. He thinks everybody is just as hot for everybody as he is and he wants some sex NOW.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Johnny Martin/Thomas Peacock, Martin suddenly noticed that Lt. Peacock was not a bad looking man, and the Lt. Peacock was a real gentleman.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Joseph Toye/William 'Wild Bill' Guarnere, They had some fun at the hospital back home

BAND OF BROTHERS, Lewis Nixon/Lieutenant Colonel Dobie/Richard Winters, Dick and Dobie are both rather experienced when it comes to gay sex. Nix is not.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Lewis Nixon/Richard Winters, Lew runs the bookstore on Dick's university campus, and is intrigued by the redhead who starts off ordering business books and farming manuals and then starts hesitantly ordering books by queer authors.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Lewis Nixon/Richard Winters, Nix is a famous actor who needs a place to stay out of the limelight while a scandal dies down. The farm belonging to his manager Harry's friend Dick might be just the place.

BAND OF BROTHERS, Lynn 'Buck' Compton, True fact: WWII Army pants had a defect that made the butt seam particularly weak and prone to tearing when paratroopers jumped off the plane (or in any other kind of butt-seam intense situation).

Generation Kill

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert, Brad is actually a dragon passing as a human.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Josh Ray Person, They lose touch when Ray leaves the service. Seven years later on a plane to New Orleans, Brad hears a familiar voice a few rows back, singing Avril Lavigne with his headphones on.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Josh Ray Person, Turns out Ray really dreamed of being a ballerina. He still likes to put on tights and a tulle skirt. Brad is strangely turned on and so he asks for a private show.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, I want to be the little spoon tonight.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, It feels really strange but also quite nice to spend time with each other off duty, watching sport in TV, drinking beer, pretending to be interested in what they're watching just to prolong the moment.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, It's been years since he didn't have to fantasize about being somewhere - or with someone - else in order to get off.

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, It's Brad's birthday and Nate remembers

GENERATION KILL, Brad 'Iceman' Colbert/Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, Nate spent a long time trying to hide he's an omega, up until heat strikes. Brad will help.

GENERATION KILL, Nathaniel 'Nate' Fick, Overstimulation - Nate's beautiful when he's at the breaking point (pairing up to author)

The Pacific

THE PACIFIC, Andrew 'Ack-Ack' Haldane/Edward 'Hillbilly' Jones, Eddie is in reality a unicorn come from the sea who strikes up a great friendship with Captain Haldane on the beach of an island in the Pacific. He goes back to the sea at every sunrise until he worries so much for Andy that he decides to take human form and stay there and protect Andy. Andy convinces everybody somehow that Eddie had been fighting there since the start.

THE PACIFIC, Andrew 'Ack-Ack' Haldane/Edward 'Hillbilly' Jones, It takes getting really, really drunk for Andy to confess anything.

THE PACIFIC, Eugene B. Sledge/Merriell 'Snafu' Shelton, Eugene can't stop watching how Snafu plays with his trench knife, or thinking about other things he could do with it.

Colonel Kink's Theme of the Month

Spring (or Fall) is upon us, and as befits the season, it's time for another round of house cleaning! For this Theme of the Month, we are going to clear up some of the clutter. Two Mail Calls from now (i.e. on 18 May), we will permanently delete all prompts posted in October, November and December 2019. During that period all prompts posted in October, November and December 2019 will be worth 2 points if filled.

Fill One, Save Three
What if you've got a favorite prompt you were saving for later? A half-finished draft waiting for the correct alignment of the stars? Three absolutely gorgeous lines with no plot attached as of yet?

For the next four weeks (until 18 May), for each fill you post (in response to any prompt posted at any time), you can save up to 3 prompts from October, November and December 2019. Just mention them in a comment to this post, and they will not be culled when the time comes.
